Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment to accessibility
Felora, a platform operated by Atarika (atarika.co.il), is committed to making its service accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013.
Atarika is the company that designed, built and operates the Felora platform. We believe everyone deserves equal access to digital tools, and we work continuously to improve the accessibility of our platform.
2. Accessibility standard
We work to bring the service in line with Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Conformance is an ongoing process; section 4 sets out which parts are not yet complete.
The standard defines four founding principles:
Perceivable: information and interface components are presented in ways all users can perceive
Operable: interface components and navigation can be operated by everyone
Understandable: information and the operation of the interface are clear
Robust: content can be interpreted reliably by a wide range of assistive technologies
3. Accessibility adjustments already made
3.1 Navigation and keyboard:
Every interface element is reachable using the keyboard alone, with no mouse required
A logical, consistent tab order
A clear visual focus indicator on active elements
Support for standard keyboard shortcuts
3.2 Screen readers and assistive technology:
ARIA labels on interactive elements
Alt descriptions for images and graphical elements
Headings in a correct hierarchy (H1–H6)
ARIA roles for regions and custom components
Live regions announcing dynamic updates
Support for the NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver screen readers
3.3 Visual design:
Primary body text meets the contrast ratio required at Level AA. Two secondary tones — the grey helper text and the accent used on links — do not yet meet it, and this is recorded in section 4
Information is never conveyed by colour alone
Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content or functionality
A responsive design that suits a range of screen sizes
No content flashes at a rate that could trigger seizures
Forms with clear labels, detailed error messages and filling instructions
Links with descriptive text, never "click here"
3.5 Media:
Showcase videos on the home page play without sound by default
Animations respect the user's prefers-reduced-motion setting
3.6 Keyboard and screen readers:
A "skip to main content" link at the start of every screen, reachable on the first Tab press
Dialogs trap focus within themselves, announce their title, and close on Escape
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, there are areas where accessibility may be partial:
AI-generated content: images, videos and content generated automatically by AI may not carry complete alt descriptions or adapted captions. We are working to improve the accessibility of these outputs
Uploaded media: images and logos that users upload to the platform may not include alternative text
Third-party components: some third-party libraries and components may not meet accessibility requirements in full
Content editor: parts of the content-editing interface may be challenging to use with a screen reader alone
Colour contrast: two secondary tones do not yet meet the required 4.5:1 ratio — the secondary grey text and the accent used on links. The primary text on every screen does meet it. A palette correction is planned
We work continuously to improve accessibility and to address these limitations.
5. Supported browsers and technologies
The site has been tested with, and supports, the following browsers:
Google Chrome (latest version)
Mozilla Firefox (latest version)
Apple Safari (latest version)
Microsoft Edge (latest version)
Accessibility has been tested with the NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) screen readers.
6. Accessibility testing
We carry out accessibility testing on an ongoing basis, including:
Automated testing with tools such as axe and Lighthouse
Manual testing of keyboard navigation and screen readers
Colour contrast checks
Compatibility testing across browsers and devices
7. Accessibility coordinator
We have appointed an accessibility coordinator responsible for the accessibility of the service. To report an accessibility problem, request an adjustment, or suggest an improvement:
Accessibility coordinator: Atarika — web development and promotion
Subject: "Accessibility request" or "Accessibility problem report"
Please include in your message:
A description of the problem or difficulty you encountered
The page or area of the site where you encountered it
The browser and assistive technology you are using
We will respond to every enquiry within 5 business days and tell you what steps have been taken.
8. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how your enquiry was handled, you may contact the Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the Israeli Ministry of Justice:
Phone: 073-392-5999 or *6763
